Oh my goodness, I can hardly bear the excitment of it all....miner's lamps, bumsinators in red, white and blue, Dor's wonderful knitted fascinator, the cake, the booze, purple velvet cushions on the wheeled commode.... almost dizzy with the thought of it all!

I have become increasingly concerned over the past week or so about ALL your outfits. So common and "look at me". I have just taken delivery of mine and am absolutely thrilled. Not wanting to outshine the bride, I have gone for what can only be described as a black burka. As well as giving me an air of mystery, the men will all want to know who is the beautiful woman. Instead of the traditional veil over the eyes, I have had a fine steel mesh grill inserted in case Lyn causes a riot with her scissors or Julie scales the organ pipes (or even Prince Philip) in her flimsies. There are two enormous press studs, strategically placed, for the attachment of tassels. I have also instructed the couturier to incorporate a hole in the behind to fit Julie's bumsinator.

Wel, can't stay chatting to you lot as I have to finish decorating the wheeled commode. I have covered it (inside and out) with tin foil and it looks superb. Just got to put the anti-climbing paint on it so you-know-who won't get up to any tricks during the service.
Oh - and Dor - can you send me back the pollyfilla as I need to make a start on the face cracks VERY soon

Polyfiller on it's way to you Jean, I have to admit your need is greater than mine.
Not sure I like the sound of your outfit much....all I can say is, it's a good job the wedding isn't in France!

Be careful with the tinfoil on the wheeled commode or we'll all end up like oven ready turkeys!LOL LOL

Don't stand next to Lyn when she is getting frisked before entering the abbey (Julie will be first in the queue). If she hides those scissors we'll get arrested with her.RollEyes

I've just discovered that Kate will be wearing the exact same outfit that i had planned to wear- I'm very cross. Should I ask her to change or should I change?

I think Kate has got a HUGE cheek and should definately change her outfit. After all, it's age before beauty. Who are you planing to marry, by the way?

Well I thought if I came ready wrapped, and some tall handsome RICH stranger spotted me across the nave then we could stand at the back and mutter the wedding vows with Wiil and Kate, you'd all be already there and so i would get a lavish wedding ceremony for nowt?

It might cause quite a stir at the NRAS office with Julie and Alan being featured in the new magazine! Could be quite a scandal brewing RollEyes

Love the transport Doreen. I would be envious but I have booked a duck to get me to the Abbey. Well seeing as I'm wearing my now completed rubber outfit with feathered fringe I thought it seemed quite appropriate. Anyone want to come for the ride? Plenty of room for everyone Smile

Julie, how inconsiderate of Kate to choose the same outfit. I think you should stand your ground on this one!
My son, Ian, completed the BUPA Great North Run on 15th September running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). You can read his story at http://www.justgiving.com/ianlukewilson

I KNEW it was right to wear riot protection gear. It will all turn very nasty not to say unseemly, with HMQ and Julie, handbags drawn, brawling outside the Abbey over Prince Phillip. Of course, then the police will be called out and when they use the water cannons Julie's rice paper will melt away.........here we go again!

LOL LOL LOL LOL Glad you ladies have been keeping up the preparation in my absence. I have found my perfect outfit whilst in Dubai. Soooo spangly - it even has tiny bells on it. Have been taking belly dancing lessons there so be prepared to give me a wide berth when I do my stuff BigGrin

I always knew you were a sneaky so and so. Fancy jetting off to Dubai without us. I trust have you brought an oil Sheik home for each of us? No? Just one for yourself, I bet. As for the belly dancing and bells - this is just too much. How unkind is it to go out there especially to pick up your costume? I for one am very miffed.

Yeah! A fellow belly dancer-I may even be tempted to change my outfit now!

I can see the headlines now---Royal Princes wowed by the two Julies.
